I love water. I love oceans, seas, rivers, canals, lakes, ponds, and so on. I am fascinated by their eternal movement and the tranquility they evoke. And I especially love them when I can swim in them. Which of course was not the case now since it was way too cold!
I love it when you are walking towards a dune, with this high feeling of expectation. You know you have to do some climbing, but you already anticipate the feeling of being on top of that dune and you know that you can have a good look around and admire the landscape. How will the beach be: crowded or not? Will be the sand be white or golden? Is the sea close to the dunes or not? Are there any waves and if yes, are they big or small?
All these questions ran inside my head when Lars and I were walking in the nature reserve, towards the dunes, towards the beach.
I think the pictures speak for themselves …
so beautiful… Thank you, have a nice weekend, love, nia
Have a nice weekend too, Nia!
I love the sea too Ingrid and these are terrific images. Wish I was there
Thank you very much for the sweet compliment, Edith!
Oh, how I love an empty beach – it gives such a feeling of tranquility. Lovely photos!
Exactly the same reason why we love it so much!
I’d love to be there right now.
Bonus if it’s warm!
Guess we have to wait some months for that

So beautiful. So nice to see some lovely photos of the sea.
More to come!
Beautiful pics!!!!
Thanks!
Reminds me of a time we were in the ilhas, Ingrid. Our little boat had picked up passengers to drop them at a “deserted” beach. We’d just pulled away when we heard them shouting us back. They’d popped over the top to see just as many people on that bit of beach as elsewhere. So funny!
I prefer them deserted too. Lovely images.
Thanks, Jo! And if you really like deserted beaches, maybe you should go to Denmark
Beautiful shots!
Thanks, Tina!
