Going back via the German Moselle - Our favorite winery

Staying away from the German Moselle and Bruttig-Fankel in particular is very hard, but skipping a visit to our favorite winery is simply impossible. I am referring to Walter J. Oster in Ediger:

The exact address is Moselweinstrasse 14, 56814 Ediger. You can also find them in Cochem at the Schlossstrasse, 4.

I first tried two new products: a balsamic cream with truffle and a chocolate “Likör” with extra chili. And what can I say? Both are to die for, especially that extra chili that gives you a real kick! Afterwards, Lars and I participated in some wine tasting. If you are into Riesling and Chardonnay, this is really the place to be! We started with some dry white wines and ended with the sweet ones. Although the Moselle region is not known for red wines, Walter J. Oster has some excellent ones. The Cuvée “J” that I tried was overwhelmingly delicious!
