What is going to change in 2013? We have already decided that we keep our travel philosophy, which is to show you the beauty of places that are less touristic. And what we have learned last year is that we don’t always have to look far to find this beauty.
Some travel plans have already been made. In about 5 weeks we’ll go back to Denmark. But this time we have two special missions in our mind. The first is that we’ll try to show Denmark from a completely different point of view. And second, we would like to go back to the roots of my soul mate. During the Easter vacation we’ll probably go to Hungary and exploring the Baltic countries is our dream for this summer. In the meantime we’ll continue with our Creepy Travels and discover more about Belgium and Brussels in particular.
But there will be changes as well. As you can see, we have already changed the name of our blog. When we started our blogging adventure, it was meant to be a fun project, hence we came up with a fun name. When we started taking our blog more seriously – and that was about a year ago – we were surprised to see many followers from all over the world, people that we didn’t know at all. The number of followers kept growing and the number of “likes” and comments as well and 63.000 views later, we thought it was time for a change. The new name tells you exactly what the blog is about! We were also getting a bit tired of the Viking and the Kitten thing, so we have also decided to use our real names: Lars and Ingrid.
Lars and I also think that it’s not fair that WordPress puts ads on our blog and that we don’t see any money from it! In other words, we would like to start earning money with our blog and as long as we stay here, we are not able to do this. Or so it seems. We are not sure if we are going to go for self-hosting or go back to Blogger. But whichever decision we take, we’ll hope you’ll keep on following us!
The next days I will post about the rest of our German escapade of the beginning of December and afterwards about our visit to Metz and its surroundings!
Glad to see you’re not just slowing down, but actually speeding up!
Why did you think that we were slowing down?
Oh, I didn’t. And happy about that!
Happy New Year and I wish you happy travels.
Happy New Year too!
Happy new year! Looking forward to more road trip stories.

Good name for the website – and I like the fact you are using your real names – thats the last throw of the dice for me although I don’t know why I dont use my real name I mean I’ve got mine and the wifes face on our gravatar!
We just got a little bit tired of the viking and kitten stuff… Was almost forgetting Lars’s real name!
As an ex-pat living in CPH, I would love to hear about your off the beaten path adventures in DK!
Just check Our Destinations, Denmark and you will see where we have already been!
Oh. Never mind. — YUR
Great to see your names on here, it makes it a bit more personal. I’ve noticed the ads but don’t expect wordpress to pay me any money, either. *sigh* I really love the wordpress bloggers and community, though. Perhaps this should be considered in your decision-making…
I know and we are considering it
Denmark sounds nice! Looking forward to read about it!!
