I have always admired people who can draw and/or paint. It is actually a talent that I don’t possess at all, but that I wish I had! Anyway, without any further ado, I present to you: the Belgian artist Gilles Vranckx!
Gilles Vranckx was born with a pencil in hand. He studied graphic design, animation and comic art. His influences range from Ashley wood, Kent Williams, Bob Peak, to Rene Gruau and old 50′-60′ ads. His animation background leads to a wide diversity in style. Watching movies is his favorite pastime and his greatest inspiration.
By the way, Gilles Vranckx is the boyfriend of my good friend, Vanessa Morgan, with whom we are currently collaborating on the Creepy Travels.
I like Gilles’ drawings very much! To be honest, I am simply in love with the vibrant colors he uses, especially the red color. You can find more information on his blog. And here are a couple of examples of his work!

Very nice.
Not for the faint of heart!
But oh so beautiful!
Impressive drawings… Love the red too.
It is so vibrant, isn’t it?
