Our last stop of the day was the lovely village of St-Jean-de-Côle:
Simply adorable: the narrow streets, the stone houses with the red-brown tiles on their roofs, a church of the 12th century, a cosy market place, … St-Jean-de-Côle has got it all! And it’s quite idyllic as well, because the river Côle flows through the center of the village. The Viking and I felt like two romantic souls who had just been transported a couple of centuries back.
