After a long drive from Denmark to the south of Germany, we arrived at our hotel in Bühl. We had a room in a monastery, called Kloster Maria Hilf:
The rooms were very basic and clean. There was no tv, but since we had arrived late, and we still had to eat something, we didn’t really miss it. And after the long drive we were too tired anyway. You also have to share a bathroom and a toilet with other people. There is no fridge or Internet in the rooms either.
Breakfast was cheap , but delicious. If you can’t find anything that you like, you must be a really fussy eater. Funny detail: I could watch The Viking eating bread with the honey dripping from all sides…
In short: ideal for budget travelers like us!
Wow! (Plus, on a side note… like the new blog lay out!
Thanks! We thought it was time for a change!
Sharing a bathroom is something I just can’t do. I need it (very) often durning the night. Darn!
We were lucky: the bathroom was just next to our room
A great place to relax!
Absolutely!
