How to celebrate a Viking's birthday

The Viking and I shared a special, romantic day together yesterday. Since the weather was fine, we first went for a walk. Of course, all this walking makes you hungry and thirsty, so I surprised my Viking with a free lunch at our favorite pub. I ordered a mushroom omelette and the Viking a sandwich “américain”, that’s a sandwich with minced raw meat. By the way, this is a kind of sandwich which is very popular in Belgium and lately my beloved Viking has fallen in love with it.

We had a very relaxing afternoon and in the evening I cooked fish soup with North-African spices! The Viking loved it so much, that he ate almost everything – I had actually prepared soup for two days, but this evening one of us will eat something else And now I let the pictures speak for themselves!
