Road Tripping Europe

Discovering and photographing the unknown beauty of Europe

Our Adaptable Adventure – Taking the scenic route

From the moment The Viking and I had crossed the Swedish – Norwegian border, we had been driving west. At some point, we had to make a choice. We could continue west and go all the way to Stavanger. Or we could go south and follow what our atlas called a scenic route. We chose the last one.

In a small place called Edland, we reprogrammed our GPS and went south to a place called Nomeland:

In the meantime, the landscape had changed. There were still a lot of forests, but the hills had been replaced by giant rock formations and mountains. Not only did we see rivers, but also bigger and bigger lakes. And best of all, there were almost no tourists to be seen here!

Here are the other pictures!

Living in Malta, which is a little bit ‘brownish’ in hue, it is refreshing to look at all the shades of green in your photos. Reminds me of home… (or at least places near my home)
