The weekend of 21 – 22 July, The Viking and I decided to take it easy. We had some big plans for the week afterwards and we needed some time for our preparations. And I had a lot of pictures to edit as well. But when the weather improved a lot on Sunday, we felt the urge to be on the road again!
We decided to go to the island of Langeland. If you have been following our road trips for some time, you know about our encounters with the Wild Horses. They are mainly to be found in the south of the island, so this time we decided to go north. This part of the island is more touristic, because of the beautiful beaches and picturesque villages.
The Viking and I programmed our GPS to Lohals, a small harbor town at the northwest side of the island.
The main street takes you immediately to the harbor, which is both a fishing harbor and a marina. When you follow the same road again, you arrive at the beautiful sandy beaches. Like the Sunday before, there were a lot of people around, enjoying the nice weather and looking at the boats leaving and arriving.
And I cannot help but wonder how this place looks like in winter!
Here are the other pictures!
