Tåsinge is one of these places that The Viking and I have neglected a bit. Sure, we have been to Troense a couple of times (like I mentioned in the previous post) and we have also seen where Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre are buried. But that was about it.
We decided to spend an afternoon on this small island and look for these small but beautiful waterside places. And we found them! The first one was Skovballe; this time I had more luck with Google Maps:
The center of the village itself is not at the waterside, so we continued our drive to the harbor. Apparently, the harbors that we discover seem to become smaller and smaller! Despite the wind and the not so mild temperature, there were some people around and we even saw an older couple going for a (short) swim. I am terrible at guessing people’s ages, but I think they were in their 50ies or maybe even older. One thing was sure: The Viking and I decided to wait for some higher temperatures to do some swimming ourselves!
Here are the other pictures!
I will never visit the small islands and villages you have mentioned, but thanks to you, I now know something about them and have seen your excellent (and descriptive) photography.
Thank you for the compliment!
I don’t blame you. That water looks a little nippy! — YUR
The water was actually okay, but the wind was very cold!
