Discovering and photographing the unknown beauty of Europe
The peninsula of Helnæs is situated in the south of Fyn:
This place is not yet discovered by many tourists. If you are looking for a calm and quiet destination with beautiful landscapes, this is it!
First of all, there are a couple of beaches here, where you cannot only swim, but also do some windsurfing. And there are many fishing spots as well! And last but not least, there are some nature parks as well, where you can even discover wild orchids. You can also visit Helnæs Fyr, the lighthouse and castles.
The Viking and I were blown away here! First, by the very strong winds and afterwards by the idyllic beauty of the place. The peninsula is connected to Fyn via a narrow dam, which already in itself is a beautiful photo opportunity.
We will certainly come back here, to do some more exploration!
Here are the other pictures!
