Yes, she did! We had a really big problem keeping her away from the alcohol. Well, we understand, of course, because the Czech Republic has some good stuff to offer. It’s not just the beer, they have a couple of delicious strong drinks as well.
And we included Flat Ruthie on a very special excursion as well. The first two days, we were so impressed by the landscapes, that we had completely forgotten her – poor girl – but we made it up to her! On other excursions, there was so much rain and we didn’t want to end up with a Wet Flat Ruthie.
Anyway, here are the pictures:
…And while I am ridiculously behind in reading of your adventures, I get kick every time Flat Ruthie pops up in my inbox!
And despite the beer, she seems to be holding up quite well.
Try to catch up though, because we have some big news to announce!
That girl really gets around!
And so do you apparently
Is that the real deal absinthe? It’s no longer legal here in the U.S., but I don’t know about other countries. I have a semi-perverse longing to sample real absinthe. I’m a little late to the Flat Ruthie business, but I do think the little Elvira is cute!
For a long time, it was forbidden in Europe as well, except in the Czech Republic. And yes, it was the real deal! And it was quite an experience to drink it!
THanks for the great post. I just reblogged it at http://cardboardmetravels.com with a link back to you. The beer looks great!!!
You are welcome!
