Yesterday, when The Viking and I went for a walk, we had an extra companion: Flat Ruthie of course! Since the weather was (and still is) so beautiful, we decided to take her to our favorite park, the Warandepark (also called the Royal Park).
I can imagine it’s hard to believe, but Brussels is actually one of the greenest capitals in the world! Even in the busiest parts of town, you’ll find at least one park and The Viking and I even live between 2 of them, which is a bit of a luxury. The Warandepark is our favorite and is situated between the Belgian Parliament and the Royal Palace. On the other sides of the park, you’ll find banks, museums and embassies.
This is a popular park that attracts a huge variety of people: joggers, families with young children, students, tourists and so on. And The Viking, Flat Ruthie and me!
We want to travel with you. It looks like you have a lot of fun!
Bella and DiDi
We do have a lot of fun!
Not sure if we have enough space in our car for you…
Yeah we do take up a fair amount of space in the car. We’ll enjoy reading about your adventures from here for now.
Hi,
It’s great when there are some nice parks around to have a walk, usually along the way you always see something of interest.
Especially in Brussels
I write Brussels in my notebook as preferred destinations
That’s sweet of you!
Yay for spring walks!!!
Yay indeed!
Ik ben nog nooit in Brussel geweest maar als ik oiit naar Brussel ga, en waarom ook niet?, dan zal ik zeker dit park bezoeken
En dan gaan we meteen ook een pint drinken!
Flat Ruthie gets to go to all the coolest places, with the very coolest people!
What a nice compliment! Thanks!
Aww that’s so cute, to take Ruthie with you
