On Friday evening, The Viking and I had become a bit stuck while planning our big summer trip, Exploring the Balkan. Since we spent Saturday exploring the region of Pas-de-Calais, we started planning again yesterday. Apparently, our little French escapade had done us well, because we felt inspired. This is what we have planned so far (starting from where we got stuck, Naousa in Greece):
I am looking forward to travel through Bulgaria, because for me it is a new country! And then Romania! It’s one of The Viking’s favorite countries and for me, it was one of the best discoveries of last year. Exploring the Donau Delta will hopefully be an unforgettable experience!
And now we concentrate on the trip back to Belgium… So, what do you think? Do you like our planning?
I know maybe it’s too much, but don’t miss Bukovina.
We’ll try
Sounds great…can I come?
If you pay for the whole trip: yes
Romania is on my list! I’ll look forward to hearing about your travels there. People seem to either love it or hate it.
And we love it! Although I have to admit that in the beginning The Viking needed to convince me too
I like. A friend of mine wants to go to Romania and visit Dracula’s Castle but he reckons its too expensive
The further you go east, the cheaper everything gets!
Go for it!
We will!

Looks like the perfect plan! I’ve spent some time in Greece, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. The country and people are so beautiful! Enjoy the time there!
Thanks! We will!
