After having driven around in the north of France and having tasted the trappist, we came back to Belgium. Just across the French-Belgian border, we discovered the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.
During World War I a huge field hospital was established in this small village. The wounded who didn’t survive were buried on this site and quite soon the cemetery counted more than 10.000 graves. It’s actually one of the biggest military cemeteries in Belgium.
The pictures can be found here.
This was interesting… How tragic dayus of the history… I am impressed so much. Thank you dear Sweet Kitten, have a nice day, with my love, nia

This was a horrible time on our earth! I hope we won’t have to go through this again. Peaceful pictures!
