>The Viking (aka Lars Jorgensen) and his Kitten (me, Ingrid Dendievel) have just visited a dozen European countries where they tasted and enjoyed the local cuisines. One of the countries that we particularly liked was Hungary. We stayed at the western side of the Balaton lake, in a picturesque town called Keszthely. And one particular Saturday evening we went to this restaurant: http://www.vadaskertcsarda.hu/index_en.php .

This is what I had for my starter. It’s called Plate of the Wood and offers local ham, cheese, and salami. Simple, but delicious!

I had some turkey stuffed with plums afterwards.
